The Wartime Era (jan 1, 1943 – jan 1, 1949)

Description:

After releasing "the Big Five"--Snow White, Pinocchio, Fantasia, Dumbo, and Bambi- Walt Disney was ready to create more full length feature films. WW2 forced him to put it all on hold. They began making short films until they had enough money to start producing full length films again. (Many of the movies released during the War Time Era were motivated by national policy rather than entertainment purposes)
