Description:
1. Civil rights protest to fight the segregation of public transportation
2. Rosa Parks refused to give up her bus seat. The NAACP officially started the protest, and MLK Jr became a leader for it.
3. Montgomery, Alabama
4. Rosa Parks was arrested for refusing to give up her seat to a white man.
5. A federal court ruled that segregation on public buses was unconstitutional, and the Supreme Court upheld that. The Montgomery buses were integrated.
