Mary Keay dies, Pinhole Books closes (jan 1, 2008 – dec 31, 2008)

Description:

Sometime during this year, Mary Keay is found dead in her apartment, apparently due to an overdose of painkillers. There were several large pieces of skin removed, written over in permanent marker in Sanskrit as part of an immortality ritual to take control of the skin book, carried out by Mary Keay herself (MAG 4). Gerard was present for a part of it, but did not participate. Despite this, he was tried and subsequently acquitted when Mary removed the skin book from evidence, leading his trial to fall apart. After this, she continued manifesting in the world as an undead person (awaiting citation).
