Stage 2-H (aug 1, 1791 – dec 1, 1801)

Description:

Began in August of 1791 with a massive slave revolt in the north. There was fighting between whites and free people of color in the south and west. This time period also includes the invasion of Saint-Domingue by Spain and Great Britain. Additionally, slavery was abolished, there was a large amount of fighting, and eventually this all led to the "War of the Knives" between the factionalized people.
