Influenza -1 (sep 9, 1918 – oct 31, 1919)
Description:
Decline: People had no idea about this disease and how to treat it. The public infrastructures such as schools and public health departments were closed because of the disease. While most of the doctors and nurses went overseas to serve the soldiers, the lack of healthcare staff caused a lot of casualties at that time (50,000 Canadians).
