Slavic Revolt (dec 17, 1890 – dec 4, 1892)
Description:
A French- and British-backed nationalist revolt against the Austrian reactionary regime. It took significant ground in early 1891, leaving Austria open for invasion by France and Britain. However, it was then abandoned by its supporters when they made peace with the provisional revolutionary government. The government forces fought the Slavic nationalists more successfully than their predecessor, and by the time of Sachsendorf's offensive, they were severely weakened and collapsed.
