Canadian War of Independence (jul 4, 1881 – dec 11, 1886)
Description:
Canada, which was heavily invested in by the British following the loss of India, whose population grew as a result, and which became more heavily taxed, declared independence from the British. The final straw was the the British use of Canadians in the American Civil War. The revolution finally drove Britain from the North American continent, as the Canadian colonies formed their own independent republic.
