Catherine The Great (may 2, 1729 – nov 17, 1796)

Description:

Born In Germany.
Married to Peter III of Russia.
Had him assassinated and took power in 1762.
Following Ivan's footsteps, she expanded Russia 200,000 sq. miles south and west. Aso was able to put to use Peter's militarization with her expansion.
Followed In Peter's footsteps and advocates for and tries to make more reforms to Russia. (political and social reforms), and continued the westernization he started.
Took Crimea, Belarus, and Lithuania.
Died at 67 in St. Petersburg.
