Description:
"Southern Ape from Afar"

Timeline source 2: http://humanorigins.si.edu/evidence/human-fossils/species/australopithecus-afarensis
Key Facts:
- powerful arms suggest good climbing.
- they had the capability to walk on two feet.
- their brain size is only about 1/3 of our brain.
- they could likely not speak.
- scientists could also not find any tools from their time.
Migration Path:
The Australopithecus did not migrate, and they only stayed in Africa. They did not migrate because they had no reason to, their food stayed there, because they did not eat meat. I also think that they did not migrate because their legs, were not as strong, say, than Homo Sapiens Sapiens.
Observation/claim:
Since there were no bones found in anywhere but Africa, that suggests that the Australopithecus didn't migrate to anywhere, that they stayed in Africa.
