Akhenhaten (jun 26, 1353 BC – oct 29, 1336 BC)
Description:
Akhenhaten ruled from 1353 to 1336 B.C.E. in the new kingdom. He was king tuts father. This ruler moved the capital of Egypt from Thebes to his city Amarna. He was one of the few rulers to have his reign named.
