Senior year: I took a forensics class with the same teacher I had with chemistry. It was very cool, laid-back class that I really enjoyed.
Junior year: I took chemistry, which was one of the first times I had struggled a little bit with a science class. I enjoyed my teacher but concepts were hard to grasp at times. I still enjoyed the class because Science was my favorite subject.
Freshman year: I took biology that year and although the material was hard at times, my teacher was very understanding and helped us through each topic. It was my favorite class of the day because it was a safe environment and I really liked my teacher!
8th grade: I enjoyed science in this grade as well because I had a good teacher. We did a lot of hands-on projects which was a way I learned best. One of my favorite projects was when we got in groups and built rubberband cars. The one that went the furthest won.
7th grade: This was the year that I participated in a science fair! My project was about the power of mud and the different energy's certain objects brings. This was also the year where my teacher had us do an egg drop from the top of a building. I would always look forward to science class as my teacher was very good.
6th grade: I remember we learned a lot about cells! We had a big project that was making a cell system and I made mine with styrofoam (which was the cell) and molded things out of clay like the mitochondria. Same teacher as 5th grade, was very enjoyable, and my dad had also helped me and it was great bonding time.
5th grade: Some days, we would watch Magic School Bus and do reflections on what happened in the episode. This was fun and engaging for me to learn about science. We had to earn these days. Out of all my science teachers, she is my favorite.
4th grade: This was the grade where I was introduced to brain-pop videos, which always made me excited to learn more about science concepts. I learned best when it came to watching these videos.
2nd grade: I remember that we would experiment with life cycles of animals. We would observe how catipillers turn into butterflies then release them outside
Sophomore year: I took an elective called Human Science that year which had a lot to do with learning the bones of the human body. I really enjoyed this class, as I was good at memorizing things, which was a majority of class. My teacher I had for it was very fun too and made it enjoyable
