Osman I Founds the Ottoman Empire Osman I started the Ottoman Empire in Anatolia (modern-day Turkey). He was a strong leader who united people through fairness and Islamic principles.
Osman I Passes Away After Osman’s death, his son Orhan became the leader and expanded the empire, capturing Bursa, the first Ottoman capital.
