Everything was normal for Sara BlumFrance surrendered to Germany on June, 1940, during World War II.summer has passed and fall has arrived. No Jews allowed in stores, etc.Spring in France.
- Vicente call Sara a "Jew".

Summer;
Her friendship with Julien grows to love.
Vicente and his friends attack Julien in the barn, but Sara did the bats scared the boys.1 year in hayloft
They celebrate Sara's birthday on May 28 and Viviane made a real chocolate cake for her.
-Julien and Sara went to the forest at night and kissed for the first time and imagined their future together.

Sara Blum is talking to her grandson about her life, about her difficult days and about how she needed to be strong, how she had to live in a barn. she tells about the Lafleurs family and her love with Julien, and her gratitude for this family, about Julian, and at the end when she hangs up the call with her Grandson she opens a little box with a beautiful gesture it was the little bird that Julien gave her in your birthday.
