Singapore Theatre in 2023 Timeline

Before we say hello to a new year’s worth of productions, let’s take a look back at 2023’s happenings in SG Theatre! On 13 February 2023, Singapore stepped down all COVID-related requirements, allowing us to go forth and create productions without worrying about restrictions on performers and audiences. With the pandemic officially behind us, we looked at how things have changed for the scene (or not!) We tracked 142 theatre productions this year, just a slight increase from 2022’s total.
