1992: Coca-Cola (the company) is branded.
1941: Coca-Cola and WWII. Coca-Cola began to truly spread internationally during WWII, when the company began openly supporting American troops during the war efforts.
1971: Coca-Cola's popularity launched internationally as a result of their "I'd like to buy the world a Coke" commercial.
1943: In 1943, at the request of General Eisenhower, Coca-Cola plants were set up near the fighting fronts in North Africa and eventually throughout Europe in order to help increase the morale of United States soldiers.
1960: Coca-Cola buys Fanta, a company originally operating out of Germany, and brings the drink to the United States.
1938: Coca-Cola's arrival in Australia. Sales boomed after the decision to make Coca-Cola available to all U.S. soldiers during WWII.

Periods
1920(s): Coca-Cola becomes an international company. "The Coca-Cola Company began building its global network in the 1920s. Now operating in more than 200 countries and producing nearly 450 brands, the Coca-Cola system has successfully applied a simple formula on a global scale: provide a moment of refreshment for a very small amount of money -- a billion times a day."
1919-1940: Coca-Cola is introduced internationally to the Olympics. "Robert Woodruff, who was a marketing genius, saw the opportunities everywhere. He expanded overseas and in 1928 he introduced Coca-Cola to the Olympic Games for the very first time, the beverage travelled with Team USA to the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics."
