Treat of Versailles 1919
Causes: The Treaty of Versailles was started for an agreement that Germany would pay for the damage that was made while during World War I.
Effects: The treaty forced Germany to surrender colonies in Africa, Asia and the Pacific.The League of Nations was started at the Paris Peace Conference to stop another global conflict similar to World War.
Effects: The League failed to stop much conflicts leading up to World War II, such as the Italian invasion of Abyssinia, the Spanish Civil War, and the Second Sino-Japanese War.
