john legend was bornhe was home schooled and he started to play the piano at the age of fourat the age of 12 he went to highschoolhe also graduated from high school at the age of 16
also at the age of 16, he was offered to go to Harvard University and got scholarships to Georgetown University and Morehouse College but he went to the University of Pennsylvania´´He graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in English in 1999´´After graduating from college he became a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group
He also made 2 albums independently one called his self-titled demo in the 2000sand the other album in the year 2001 it is called Live at Jimmy's Uptown
