Old Kingdom - time where pharaohs had all the power and pyramids were bulit to put the pharaohs in after death.Middle Kingdom - time where art and literature flourished, trading became more successful and Egypts capital was moved to Thebes.New Kingdom - time where pharaohs like King Tut, Ramses the Second, and Hatshepsut ruled. Military expansion created a large empire.1st Intermediate Period - serious of droughts and fighting between pharaohs led to the fall of the Old Kingdom.2nd Intermediate Period - a group called Hyksos conquered Egypt and they ruled during this period. Until the Egyptians gained Egypt back starting the New Kingdom.
