History of the U.S Constitution.

Sooo, after the Colonist settled in the "New World" they decided they didn't want to be under the thumb of Britians King. They sent a Declaration of Independance over to Britian and King George III, saying that the king can lick his own boots from now on because they weren't doing it anymore. Old George didn't like that so he sent some of his army men to go and get everything under control. Ha, if only they knew the Colonist was prepared for that outcome. Our first president, George Washington led them Colonist Peeps into battle against them Brits. The Brits was far better trained though so they won the first battle at Bunker Hill. That was before Washington helped got there by the way. The next battle was fought in Saratoga, New York, where the old Patriot Boys beat the Brits. Then here comes to old George Washington to the rescue. He stationed his group of ragtag, battered soldier's in the cold in Valley Forge, Pennslyvania. They were almost destroyed by the blistering cold and lack of food. But them boys toughed it out and made them Brits surrender. But they wouldn't have been able to get the victory without the help of France and their army. After Britian had acknowledge America as a new nation they left and had to face the furry of King George III i persume. I wonder how mad he was. Well with the britians out of the way, the next objective was to create a new government system.
