NEVER RETURNEDMiddle July, 1958 Ruth Mercado advertised she was seeking modeling jobs.¨Harvey Glatman¨ called and arranged to meet at her apartment, stayed the night. NEVER SEEN AGAINLorraine Vigil was picked up at her apartment by ¨Frank Johnson¨ a photographer.Vigil startled ¨Johnson¨ and he pulled the car over threatening to shoot her, when she got in the road officer Tom Mulligan found them. ¨Johnson¨ was arrested.Investigators headed east of Riverside in search of remains.Glatman was formally arraigned in Case #255504Glatman was executed in gas chamber
