1475 …MICHELANGELO BUONARROTI is born on March 6 in a village near Florence, during his father’s short term as mayor and local magistrate. His mother died when he was six.
1534 Michelangelo returns to Rome and lives there for the remainder of his life.
Michelangelo died on February 18, 1564, after a slow fever. He died at the age of 88.
