The first workable prototype of the Internet came in 1961. It all started with the creation of the Advanced Research Projects Agency Network or ARPANET.
In the 1970's, scientists Robert Kahn and Vinton Cerf developed Transmission Control Protocol and Internet Protocol to transmit data to multiple networks.
ARPANET adopted TCP/IP on January 1, 1983, and from there researchers began to assemble the network of networks.
In 1990 a computer scientist named Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web.
On August 6, 1991 CERN released the internet to the public.
In 1998 the google search engine was created.
In 2001 Jimmy Wales creates Wikipedia.
In 1983 DNS is created.
In 1980 Bill Yeager develops the multiprotocol router at stanford university.
In 2016 google creates alexa which is basically the internet
Youtube and reddit are created in 2005.
Mozilla firefox browser and facebook is created in 2004
In septmeber 2, 2008 google chrome was created.
On August 16, 1996 , internet explorer was created.
In 1990, a scientist at CERN which is the European Organization for Nuclear Research, develops HyperText Markup Language (HTML). His name was Tim Berners-Lee.
