When Southern Sudan started rebbeling against the North it started the first Civil War.In 1972 southern Sudan got greater
autonomy an included southerners in the national government.In 1976 the government imposed the Islamic Law
which led to the second Civil War, with the newly formed SPLA and SPLM.The Second Civil War started in 1983SPLA started getting help by in-fighting from 1991-1996.In 1996 the SPLA united with the NDA.In 1998 the SPLA makes major advances in the war.In 2002 Al-Bashir had peace negotiations with the SPLA.This is when the Egyptian Conquest of the Sudan began.
