The Great Schism: This event split the Roman Catholic and Orthodox Christian churches in two whereas previously they held common communion with one another.
Reign of Emperor Augustus: Augustus was the first Roman ruler to be worshiped as a son of a god , and the day of his birth was considered the beginning of his glad tidings or "gospel" for the world.
Jesus of Nazareth is born: The eternal God Himself, became flesh, meaning the man Jesus. When this happened, the eternal God stepped out of eternity into time to become a man of flesh and blood.
Death of Jesus: Through Jesus's death, people's broken relationship with God is restored. This is known as the Atonement.
Calling of Abraham: He is the founding father of the Covenant, the special relationship between the Jewish people and God
The Exodus begins: Led by Moses, the Israelites leave Egypt and eventually settle in Canaan.
The first Temple: David's son Solomon becomes king. He later builds a temple in Jerusalem to honor God.
The Exile: Babylonians take Jerusalem and destroy Solomon's temple. Jewish nation is taken into captivity in Babylon
