She was born in 1993.She started a sing when had 7 years old.At 15 years old she competed on the television show Tú sí que vales.Rosalía worked as a duo with Juan "Chicuelo" Gómez at the 2013.She was the opening act for Catalan flamenco artist Miguel Poveda, accompanied by Alfredo LagosIn 2016, she collaborated with Spanish rapper and former boyfriend C. Tangana on "Antes de Morirme".Rosalía began her professional musical formation at age 16 at the Taller de Músics in Barcelona.In 2015 she collaborated with La Fura dels Baus on a show premiered in Singapore.On 30 May 2018 she released the album's lead single, "Malamente", her first flamenco-pop song.
