Lucius Opimius: Roman consul who ordered the death of 3,000 supporters of Gaius Gracchus.
Marcus Flaccus: Elected consul in 125 B.C. He was an ally of Gaius Gracchus.
Gaius Marius: Consul of Rome who worked closely with the tribune Saturninus.
Valerius Flaccus: Roman consul along with Marius. Sided with Sulla during the Roman civil war and eventually became a dictator.
Gaius Servilius: A Roman politician who is regarded as a hero because he killed a peasant who was trying to become king.

Lucius Saturninus: Roman tribune who strongly advocated that veterans of the Cimbric wars were granted land. He died in 99 B.C. when he was stoned to death in the senate-house where he was hiding.
