My family and I arrived at Casa Clara, located in Marathon Key, Florida.
Upon arrival, I met with three families who I'd never seen prior to this experience.
My friends and I, we spent the absolute entirety of our days together, from literal dusk until dawn, experiencing the beauty around us in different and unique ways.
Upon arrival, I ecountered three families whom I had never met prior to this experience. The most impactful family out of the three that I met were the Nichols.

'Twas my birthday, and what a glorious day it was.
Will and I, were a special duo. We were abundant in prosperous youth, shielded from the normalities of the everyday world, the only imaginable worry on our minds being our mothers insisting that we apply slightly more sunscreen in order to protect our skin as much as possible.
Mr. Jay's ashes were released from the beautiful Casa Clara pier, just as he asked.
I had one more day, I had one more night. I remember that after living in Marathon Key, Florida for two life changing weeks, that the last of the days had arrived.
The Fourth of July, a night of celebration which we had to be excited for.
I was more fascinated with what the people around me were saying than the fireworks above me. That night was the first night where I found that I would have rather stared into the pure, large eyes of the boy to the left of my face than appreciate the patterns exploding in the sky, his comforting voice drowned the surrounding loudness, sounding as music.
The sounds of the ocean more magical than any music I had ever listened to. A feeling of victory arose once more, as did my nostalgia from the earlier day. My smile happily tired, my stomach sore from my over-bearing laughter. A feeling of being found, a feeling of fortune.
