He took his first steps on stage replacing his mother.
After a few years of minor work such as glassblower, he got return to the stage.
He began his acting career.
He went with the company on an american tour.

Charlie Chaplin made a lot of movies with keystone and other companies, but in 1917 USA entered in the first world war.
He made "shouler arms", a movie set in the war.
He announced the built of his own film studios located in Hollywood, Los angeles C.A.
He made his first full-length movie called "The Kid".
After the success of "The Kid" Charlie Chaplin came back to England and he was received for thousands of people.
He read a book about the gold rush in Alaska and give it to him the idea for his next movie.
