Switched from Nexium 20mg to Prevacid (generic) 15mg
Started PPI. Nexium 20mg in mornings.

Introduced PPI. Nexium 20mg. No diet changes.
Reintroduced: fish, cocoa, yeast, vinegar, bananas.
Reintroduced: peanuts, tree nuts, chicken.
Reintroduced: pork, green beans.
New troubles with swallowing, food getting stuck in throat, and gagging/choking. Symptoms peaked and then tapered off until mid-February when all completely stopped.
Removed pork and green beans.
Reintroduced green beans.
Moderate/severe symptoms. Throat hurting, throat spasms, stomach pain, feeling like he's going to throw up. At the peak, he complained about symptoms ~6x/day. Mushy stools.
Removed green beans. All foods avoiding: gluten, soy, dairy, eggs, beef, pork, rice, green beans. This is the diet that previously gave him 0 EOS on scopes and zero symptoms.
Nexium 20mg in mornings
Prevacid (generic) 15 mg in mornings
Increased Prevacid (generic) to 15 mg 2x/day.
Worst symptoms reappeared for a week, then tapered off.
Mild symptoms, occasionally moderate. Throat spasms, throat pain, stomach pain. Rarely feeling like going to throw up. Complained most at bedtime. Would sometimes go a week or more without symptoms, and we'd think he'd healed, then symptoms would return.
Moderate symptoms increased. Throat pain, chest pain, stomach pain. Complains most at bedtime.
