Montequieu put out his book called Spirit Of Laws , which explained that the best kind of goverment would be the government that seperated powers among the legislative, executive . and judicial powers. Which in later years the american constitution created a federal republic which the idea was directly borrowed from this book
Locke thought that all people are entitled to what he identified as natural rights which are life liberty and property, and when the American constitution wrote the declaration of independence they gave three examples of the "unalienable rights" which were "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness"
