SpaceX makes it's inaugural test flight

SpaceX sends it's first resupply mission to the ISS, bringing 1,000 lbs of food and cargo to the astronauts on board.

SpaceX completes the first 24-storey test flight of newly developed rocket, the Grasshopper. Meant to be a prototype for a reusable rocket into space, it safely returns to Earth, landing upright.

NASA announces that SpaceX and Boeing will be the two companies developing spacecraft to send astronauts to ISS. SpaceX's crew capsule is called the Dragon V2

SpaceX makes its first attempt to land its Falcon 9 rocket back on a floating barge, however it crashes and burn.
