Television -The definition of a television is an electronic device used to receive sound and images which create television programs that people watch. -When I was a little kid, I used to enjoy watching television until I found myself copying the dialogues and chants both in different shows and advertisements.
Radio -Radio means to communicate over a device that uses electromagnetic waves. -I used to convince myself that radio is a boring device and it's only for adults.
Camera -Camera is an electronic device that captures pictures, movies or other visual images either digitally or on film. -It's the first time that I was instructed to stand close to my brother and was forced to smile and after that, I realized that camera is used for getting photographs.
Charts -A chart is a graphical representation of data -With the help of charts, I was able to familiarize with letters, numbers and parts of the body.
CD and CD player -A CD player is an electronic device that plays audio compact discs, which are a digital optical disc data storage format. -This is where I started laughing at Tom and Jerry and watching Barbie.
Coloring books -A coloring book (or colouring book, or colouring page) is a type of book containing line art to which people are intended to add color using crayons, colored pencils, marker pens, paint or other artistic media. -This is the reason why I easily learned about colors and scratched the crayons so hard until its no longer pointy.
Flash cards -A flashcard or flash card is a card bearing information, as words or numbers, on either or both sides, used in classroom drills or in private study. -When pictures are shown, I should be able to name each of it, that's the scenario I remembered about flash cards.
Maps -A diagrammatic representation of an area of land or sea showing physical features, cities, roads, etc. -In the beginning, I thought that maps are just complicated pictures but I have learned that it used to show the location of places.
Test papers -A set of questions or exercises evaluating skill or knowledge. -When I entered kindergarten, I found test papers so interesting because it improves thinking skill and I love answering questions.
Brochures -A small book or magazine containing pictures and information about a product or service. -The kind of brochure that I'm most familiar with are those that are used in selling products. I can't forget the times that I rub my hand on the picture of cologne and perfume.
Books -A book is a number of pieces of paper, usually with words printed on them, which are fastened together and fixed inside a cover of stronger paper or cardboard. --I am well informed that there are much information and knowledge that I can get from books.
Calculator -A device for performing mathematical calculations, esp an electronic device that can be held in the hand. -When I was young, I believe that using calculator is a sort of cheating because that's what my former teacher told us.
Manuals -The User Manual contains all essential information for the user to make full use of the information system. This manual includes a description of the system functions and capabilities, contingencies and alternate modes of operation, and step-by-step procedures for system access and use. -This improved my attitude in following directions and step by step procedures as well as discovering how to use things.
Newspaper -A printed publication (usually issued daily or weekly) consisting of folded unstapled sheets and containing news, feature articles, advertisements, and correspondence. -From the name itself, I already know that it contains news but what I used to look for is the entertainment page where comics are found.
Tablet -A tablet is a wireless, portable personal computer with a touchscreen interface. Thetablet form factor is typically smaller than a notebook computer, but larger than a smartphone. -It's just like a smartphone with bigger screen.
Digital application -Digital publication apps are software applications used to deliver branded business communications and content. -This has a specific purpose and can buy updated to a more effective version.
Smartphone -This performs many of the functions of a computer, typically having a touchscreen interface, Internet access, and an operating system capable of running downloaded applications. -This has a variety of uses that makes it a necessity.
Computer -An electronic device for storing and processing data, typically in binary form, according to instructions given to it in a variable program. -This is a complex device that is also used to do things conveniently.
Printer -A machine for printing text or pictures onto paper, especially one linked to a computer. -This is useful for providing a hard copy of information.
Projector -An object that is used to project rays of light, especially an apparatus with a system of lenses for projecting slides or film onto a screen. -This is effective in providing visuals specially in front of many people.
Google(internet) - Google is the world's most popular search engine. -For me, this is a modern library where you will never spend a long time looking for books and specific pages to get the information that you're looking for.
Storage device -A storage device refers to a computing hardware used to store information permanently or temporarily. -This is very important because it preserves data or informations specially pictures that serve as memories.
Social media -Websites and applications that enable users to create and share content or to participate in social -networking. -I started using Facebook and I knew that it is useful for communication but it also has some drawbacks.
Research paper -A substantial piece of academic writing, usually done as a requirement for a class, in which the author does independent research into a topic and writes a description of the findings of that research. -In my own understanding, this kind of document is not as simple as any other book that we encounter.
Google sites -Google Sites is a tool for creating and publishing websites. -Using this site, I learned something new in the internet.
Google classroom -Google Classroom is a free web service developed by Google for schools that aim to simplify creating, distributing and grading assignments in a paperless way. -For students like me, I found it very useful as it has an organized system and easy to use in doing activities in class but it is somehow difficult to reach as it requires internet connection.
