In Macbeth, there is a person called Macbeth he is a noble solider and fights for king Duncan of ruler of Scotland
A major theme in Macbeth is Power. Power can be controlling and your own demise if not used right.
Macbeth is such a noble warrior that after coming back from a battle Macbeth is found in a astonished state because he is being given the role Thane of Cawdor. Macbeth is given great power from this role.
Macbeth and Banquo are walking through the woods and come upon 3 witches who tell of there future that Macbeth will be king of Scotland and that Banquo's sons will be great kings too.
King Duncan invites himself to Macbeth's castle and unknowingly Lady Macbeth's (Macbeth's Wife) plan to kill Duncan so she and her husband Macbeth will have all the power because Macbeth believe's that he will be given the role King of Scotland. But there is a problem Macbeth is not heir to the throne Duncan has 2 kids.
The night is upon Macbeth for him to do the deed. He is hesitating but his wife is pushing him along. And do the killing, she will not do the killing because Duncan reminds her of her father.
Its done Macbeth has killed Duncan in his sleep Macbeth is terrorized by what he has just done he is trembling in fear and panicking. In the panic he brings the murder weapon back to the bedroom where lady Macbeth is Macbeth was supposed to leave the murder weapon with the guards in the king's sleeping quarters where the guards are so slobbering drunk they have passed out.
While Macbeth is in astonishment Lady Macbeth runs back and puts the knife with the drunk guards to frame them.
It is morning and Macbeth will be heir to Scotland because Duncan's two sons where suspicious of the murder of there father so they both fled to different country's.
Macbeth kill's his really only friend Banquo in suspicion that he know's. Macbeth uses his new found power and rules with a iron fist. Hires hit men to do his dirty work. Macbeth demands to see his future from the witches.
Macbeth is using his power to demand from the witches what his future is because if Banquo's sons are going to be king's that means Macbeth will have to die off. Macbeth foresee's that a Burnam Forrest will come upon his castle and "none of woman born / shall harm Macbeth"
Macduff goes to England to help rally the troops with Malcolm Duncan's eldest son. They have befriended the king of Englend and are going to attack Macbeth.
While Macduff is distracted in England plotting Macbeth's doom, Macbeth sends mercenary's to kill Macduff's family. And they succeed Macbeth is so stuffed in with a personnel vendetta he ignores the prophecy that he will fall. In a few days Macbeth will have forces rallying against his in battle.
English troops cut down tree branches from the Burnam woods to disguise them selves and make the attack harder to prepare for.
Before Macbeth's castle get's stormed Lady Macbeth dies he acts with no remorse for his dead wife. The power has consumed him he never told Lady Macbeth about the killing of Banquo until it was done. Macbeth's response to her death is "She should have died hereafter" not yet but not to far off.
Burnam woods is upon Macbeth's castle he is ready to fight with his army but Macbeth's army have no soul to fight for Macbeth with. The castle is stormed and face to face are Macbeth and Macduff but Macduff is not born by women but by c-section. He is considered to be born by man. Macduff kill's Macbeth but maybe only because Macbeth was to power hungary so he met his demise.
Macbeth's life is starting to fall apart things are happening that he was hoping would not happen yet.
