19 September 2014 Brock Turner attends Stanford University

He is awarded a swimming scholarships and looks to be a promising student

15 November 2014 Turner receives a ticket for being a minor in possession of alcohol

10 January 2015 Turner attenda a party at Kappa Apha fraternity home

(continued) A friend of his introduces her frined; during the dance he was seen being "grabby" because he placed his hands opon her waist, stomach, and thighs during the dance (without permission)

17 January 2015 Turner Attends another Kappa Alpha Fraternity party- Turner and the victim leave the party, and she proceeds to pass out behind a nearby dumpster Turner assaults her early the next morning, and is arrested

18 January 2015 Turner posts $150,000 bail and is released from jail with no charges

28 January 2015 Turner is formally charged with two counts of rape, two counts of penetration, and one count of assault with intent to rape

7 October 2015 A judge tosses out the rape charges, but Turner is still ordered to stand trial on the remaining charges

9 may 2016 Turner states that the victim was responsive during the assault and would have stopped if she was unconscious

30 March 2016 A Santa Clara County jury finds Tuner guilty of the three remaining counts- his attorney says the verdict will be appealed

May 31 2016 Armstrong (Turner's attorney) urges the judge to sentence his client to four months in prison He mentions how Turner is "a fundamentally good man who made bad choices" Armstrong also mentions how Turner's elite and promising swimming career was terminated

2 June 2016 Judge Aaron Persky sentences Turner to six montjs in jail and orders him to register as a sex offender for life He is put in protective custody; thi strial touches off an emotional national debate abotu leniency and campus sexual assualts

2 September 2016 Brock Turner is released from jail A CNN report states "After sexually assaulting an unconscious woman and spending three months behind bars, it took Brock Turner less than 20 seconds to walk out of a California Jail"
