Democritus said that matter is made up of small particles called atoms
In 1806 and 1807 John Dalton found out that Democritus was right and John said that the small particles had a name called atoms.
Henri Becquerel accidentally created radioactivity because he left something some uranium salt on a photograph.
J.J Thompson was another to believe that atoms are made up of small particles. Thompson saw the positive and negative charge.
Ernest Rutherford had a foil idea to see if they were good
Marie Curie won a noble prize because of her work with polonium and radium.
2 years later Marie and Peirce Curie found that Henri Becquerel was right about the uranium salt.
Lise meiter published a book on describing nuclear fission.
1942-1946 The Manhattan project was about trying to create the atomic bomb. They had all of the worlds best scientist to create this project.
Hydrogen Bomb was going to be made after the Manhattan project. The bomb could get up to 100,000,000 dregrees.
