05May16 Genset problem occured "SSDG Nr1 RPM decreased"
07May06 NRMDEM conducted Inspection "recommended replacing FIP and Propmech Technician to troubleshoot genset.
09Sept16 Propmech installed new FIP trying to salvage existing governor actuator. FIP Deffective; Propmech claimed warranty and replaced the FIP with brand new unit.
16Sept16 Propmech Installed new FIP and troubleshooted governor actuator.
23Nov16 Propmech replaced governor actuator and finalized the mechanical side of the genset problem.
08Dec16 Ship's force and NRMDEM conducted re-baking genset.
18Dec16 Conducted load test and endurance test with un-sat result. Recommended replacement of AVR.
23Feb17 Propmech utilized service unit of AVR to troubleshoot the problem by isolation,
21Mar16 Propmech utilized service units of AVR, Diode, Varistor, and exciter field to further troubleshoot the problem. Conducted engine test with out load: -satisfactory result with end bearing needing replacement Propmech recommended the same parts up to bearing.
03Aug2017 Propmech delivered and installed the proposed parts, found out that the bearing does not match the actual and replaced with the correct one. Tested the unit and found out that the auxiliary winding (x1 & x2) failed.
23Nov16 Conducted insulation test with un-sat result.
19Apr18 Propmech provided rewinding proposal for the main stator via email.
