1951, HOLC ceases operation.
1960s. Sociologist John McKnight coins the term redlining.
National Housing Act of 1934 creates Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation (FSLIC)
1989. FSCLI ended, activities folded into FDIC.
