Napoleon Bonaparte was born near Corsica. This is an important event in Napoleon's life because this was the start of it!
Napoleon begins to go to the royal military academy This was the start of Napoleon got his military training if this didn't happen we probably wouldn't have gotten the Napoleon we had in the today.
Napoleon is given command of the French army in Italy. This was a really big part of Napoleon's start. This was his chance to start his way to the top. This was his chance to show people that he can take this opportunity and sieze it.
Napoleon marries Josephine. This was an important part of Napoleon's life because Josephine changed Napoleons' life in many ways. She helps bring happiness to his life with her kids.
Napoleon's son is born. This is an important event because 1. he finally can get what he wanted, what Josephine couldn't give him. (an heir) But this was also important because when his son was born the people finally realized "oh wait, we don't know your son we only wanted you not your son. This isn't what we wanted at all"
Napoleon became First Consul of France This was an important event because this is when he first really comes into power.
Napoleon divorces Josephine This was important because this shows us that Napoleon was tired of waiting to see if Josephine could produce an heir. He decides that he should divorce her and find someone who can give him what he wants.
Napoleon is exiled to Elba. This is important because this is the first time the people act out on his actions. They exile him. This shows that they weren't afraid to punish him after he lost, even though they really liked him.
Napoleon is exiled to Saint Helena. This is important because this is AFTER Napoleon escapes from Elba then goes to France(gains back his power, then loses another war.) This is when the people this is when the people finally realize that he needs to be banished for good.
Napoleon Dies. This was included because this was obviously the end of his reign.
