Nellie's relationship with Amber implodes somehow

Paula takes Nellie on a not-date (realizes at end that they actually like her) Valentines Day

Steven finds out Paula likes Nellie - Locks them in a closet till Paula admits it Nellie kisses Paula Acheivement Unlocked: Paula and Nellie are dating

Nellie's mom comes home. She immeidately recognizes that Paula and "Paul" are not separate people

Steven's parents kick him out of the house when they find out he has not stopped seeing Erik. Steven goes to Red for help. Steven has to leave school.

Grand-dad kicks down Red's door, insisting on seeing his grandson. He takes Steven to live with him. Steven returns to school.

Steven gets attacked by bullies. Erik punches them and gets help. Red takes Steven to his ex-fiance for medical help (because Steven won't go to doctor) Achievement Unlocked: Steven is so touched, he and Erik start dating Achievement Unlocked: Indrocucing Karen!

Steven and Erik get caught again. Erik gets sent to a different school. Steven's parents kick him out.

Erik sneaks out to keep seeing Steven at Grand-dad's

Butcher catches them again. He and Erik have fight. Butcher has heart attack. Butcher is forcibly retired.

Butcher still hates Steven and thinks gayness is wrong, but doesn't want to lose the only family he has left. Begrudgingly allows Erik to return to St. Sebastian's. Turns an irritated blind eye to him and Steven dating.

Mike gets chummy with Sam to drive Red nuts

Policeman drops in on Mike's bar, trying to shut the place down. He can't pin down any solid evidence of gay activity, even though he knows it's happening. He has to leave them alone.

Someone starts a fire at Mike's bar. The building is still safe, but there's too much damage to reopen. Mr. Sanders is put on case, but is unable to get help from precinct cuz of the bar's reputation. Mike's patrons, Red, Sam, Blue, and kids all pitch in to rebuild bar.

Bar is fixed and ready to reopen

Mr. Sanders finds evidence that convicts fellow policeman was arsonist. Precinct doesn't want to convict him, but Mr. Sanders manages to get the case in front of judge for endangering neighboring houses. (Mr. Sander's fireman brother is stands as witness) Mr. Sanders work life is hell now, but he can tell Mike that the guy is behind bars. "I want my baby girl to live in a world better than this one."

Red and Mama throw projectiles at delinquent kids on Halloween

Mama has a stroke/falls/ something that makes her go to the hospital

Mama is being terrible to Red. Tense at losing Sam, Red finally snaps and yells at her, really going off. Mama just laughs and dies.

The apartment office gives Red an eviction notice. Mama's name was on the lease, and Red's salary doesn't meet their new requirements. Mike offers to let Red live with him for a bit. As Red is moving out, Sam finds him. Sam asks Red to move in with him. Red accepts.
