1966; Vorwoerd was assasinated
1970; student uprising in Soweto leads to 600 dead
1990; Ban lifted on ANC and Mandella released 11 Feb
1994; ANC wins South Africas first democratic election Mandella becomes the first black president.
1910; Union of South Africa dictated all and every detail of black peoples futures.
1912; The ANC was founded to cut across tribal divisions.
