in 1885 the first Administrative devolution created the scottish office
in 1913 the government of scotland bill was passed but later ignored after the break out of world war one
the kilbradon report This was a report fdone by the labour government that looked into constituional reform through the way of devoloution. eight memebrs of the board voted for complete independance for scotland and independantly influneced the scotland act
the Scotland Act 1978 intended to establish a Scottish Assembly At a referendum held in the following year, the Act failed to gain the necessary level of approval an was never put into effect.
The Scotland Act 1998 this act by the new labour governemnt created a scottish parliament
18 th september 2014 the scottish independance referndum this was the first majour refernedum on whether scotland should remain as part of the uk or leave and act as its own governing body
19th September 2014 the socttish people decided to remain part of the uk but with increased devoloution to the scottish parliament
on the 7 th of october 100 000 people marched in the centre of edinbourugh for complete independance (there are only 6 million people lving in scotland) this march was because of brexit
