2012 - Gold Coast Airports Master Plan was approved.
2013 - First Boeing 787 Dreamliner arrives at Gold Coast Airport.
2014 - Airport announces direct services between Gold Coast and Queenstown.
2015 - Release of Major Development Plan at airport to install an Instrument Landing System.
2016 - Commencement of terminal redevelopment
