Georgia was officially a royal colony. Trustee Period ended
The process of the Royal Colony began thanks to Parliament passing the charter.
Since Reynolds was ineffective and had no political skills he was removed as governor.
Henry Ellis was the new second governor. He help regulate trade with the Natives and built a solid foundation for Georgia
Ellis became ill and left his position as governor
James Wright became the third governor of Georgia. He had experience as an attorney in South Carolina.
James was no longer governor
Slave ban was lifted and plantation owners moved to Georgia for slave-based economy reason which helped the economy in GA
The Royal Colony of Georgia officially ended. This follows with the beginning of the Revolutionary War
