French and Indian war !. The French and natives were allies against the British at first 2. The French and Indian war was also known as 7 years' war 3. The war was fought mostly in the northeast along the border between the French and British colonies
The Colonist where heavily taxed 1. Brian had the stamp act in the act they would tax American colonist. 2. The King felt he needed to do this because of the dept he was in due to the war 3. Even though they were only taxing the tea the colonist were unhappy and boycotted drinking tea but men in Massachusetts would dump the tea into the harbor causing the Boston tea party 4. The Committee of Correspondence were like people who communicated through out the 13 colonies
First Continental Congress 1. Delegates from 12 out of the 13 colonies 2. they met to talk about the Coercive Acts 3. They talked about the resistance to new taxes
