From about 750-887 the Carolingian dynasty reigned over Western Europe. The Kingdom saw many great rulers but the most well known is Charles The Great, otherwise known as Charlemagne. Charlemagne brought wealth, power, religion, land, knowledge, and education to his people throughout his time as emperor. The Carolingian Empire dominated Western Europe for roughly 100 years and is credited with many advances and accomplishments.
