Colonists get taxed on everything England was in debt and started taxing people to get money Lasted until King George changed the taxes to only tea. Colonists protested to the act.
Boston Massacre
Boston Tea Party Late at night, people took tea and threw it into the ocean. Was when taxes were only on tea. Colonists didn't want to pay taxes at all which lead to them throwing out the tea so that they didn't have to spend anymore money on it.
