The Great Depression was a ten year period of economic bust. Unemployment rose to 25%, wages for workers fell 42%, U.S. Gross domestic product fell from $103B to $55B. World Trade plummeted 65% in U.S. Dollars. The Depression is known as the worst depression experienced in U.S. History.
