Description:
The Battle of Midway was one of the major victories for the US in the fight against Japan. After the US turned Japanese troops back at New Guinea, they were able to sink four of the ten Japanese carriers. This was a major turning point in WW2 because it began the deterioration of Japan, which ultimately led to a US victory over Japan.
