Description:
The Battle of Passchendaele, also known as the Third Battle of Ypres, was a campaign of the First World War, fought by the Allies against the German Empire. This War in WWI had the most casualties with 848,614 total casualties estimated. I feel that this is significant because of all the lives lost in just this one battle.
