Description:
Theodore Roosevelt was the 26th President of the United States and was part of the Republican Party. Some important things that happened when he was president were the Panama Canal, he received the Nobel Peace Prize for having negotiated peace in the Russo-Japanese war and there were many National Parks made. There was also the Roosevelt Corollary which was an extension to the Monroe Doctrine in 1904.
